Pollen editorial
01 / Check the answer before the wording
Read the brief and draft together. Does the article answer the intended question? Does the recommendation make sense for the audience? Resolve gaps in reasoning before spending time polishing individual sentences.
02 / Verify every consequential claim
Inspect citations rather than assuming they support the surrounding statement. Check dates, figures, quotations, and product behavior. Legal, medical, financial, or other high-stakes advice needs appropriate expert review. Remove unsupported claims or qualify them clearly.
03 / Add the expertise only you can supply
Replace generic language with relevant examples, practical constraints, and context from your work. Do not include private customer details without permission. Make sure an example is clearly identified if it is hypothetical.
- Read headings as a standalone outline.
- Check that links point to the intended destinations.
- Confirm titles and descriptions describe the page accurately.
- Check image descriptions and mobile readability.
04 / Approve the final version
Record unresolved issues and send the draft back for revision where needed. Approve only when those issues are addressed. In Pollen, approval is required before publishing; check the destination and schedule as a separate final step. Review substantive changes made after approval.
