Terms of Service

Last updated: August 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pollen, an SEO research, content-operations, auditing, publishing, and monitoring service. By using Pollen, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Pollen helps authorized users research search opportunities, create and review content, run audits, monitor performance, and prepare or publish content through connected services. Features may change, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every generated recommendation, draft, ranking estimate, or audit result will be accurate.

3. Accounts and authorized connections

  • Provide accurate account information and keep your authentication credentials secure.
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Use Google Search Console and other connected services only with the authorization and permissions you are entitled to grant.
  • Review generated content and publishing actions before they affect your site or audience.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use Pollen to:

  • break the law or violate another person's rights;
  • access a project, website, account, or data without permission;
  • interfere with the service, bypass security controls, or introduce malicious code;
  • send spam, create deceptive content, or manipulate search results unlawfully;
  • process special-category or confidential data unless you have a lawful basis and the required safeguards; or
  • use automated access in a way that harms the service or a connected provider.

5. Your content and generated output

You retain your rights in content, data, and instructions that you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, export, and publish that material at your direction. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for submitted material and for reviewing generated output before publication.

Pollen does not guarantee that generated content is original, accurate, complete, suitable for a particular audience, or compliant with every applicable law or search engine policy. Human review remains your responsibility.

6. Third-party services

Pollen can connect to services such as Google Search Console and content-management systems. Those services have their own terms, availability, and privacy policies. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or actions taken by a third-party service. You may disconnect an integration through the available project settings or by contacting us.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policyexplains how we process personal data. It forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

Pollen, its software, visual design, documentation, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Andrei Khlivniuk and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred.

9. Fees and trials

If a paid plan or trial is offered, its price, duration, and additional conditions will be shown before purchase or activation. Unless mandatory law says otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable. We may change or discontinue plans with reasonable notice.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Pollen is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranty that the service, third-party connections, generated output, or publishing workflows will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for your particular purpose. You remain responsible for your websites, content, credentials, and publication decisions.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Andrei Khlivniuk is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, loss of traffic, loss of data, duplicate publication, search-engine action, or interruption caused by your use of the service or a connected provider. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intent, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using Pollen or request account closure at any time. We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, or if the service is discontinued. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination continue to apply.

13. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Nothing here prevents you from using a legally available consumer or supervisory authority process.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the service or law changes. We will update the date above and provide notice of material changes where appropriate. Questions about these Terms can be sent to andrei.khlivniuk@gmail.com.
